The Live Auction and Fund-a-Need benefit Healdsburg Jazz educational and artistic programs.

Freedom Jazz Choir
Join Our Free Community Choir - No Experience Required
The Healdsburg Freedom Jazz Choir is a free community choir consisting of members from Sonoma County and surrounding areas. Everyone is welcome no matter their skill level. The experience is educational, creative, and fun. The choir will perform at our upcoming Summer Festival on June 21, 2025. There will be 6 rehearsals at St. Paul’s Church leading up to the performance which will be held at the Healdsburg Community Church. The theme of this year’s choir performance is “Roots and Rhythm”: Celebrating the Blues and Beyond”.
CHOIR ORIENTATION – MARCH 31 – 7:00pm (1 hour) via Zoom
We’ll meet and greet, and you’ll receive a packet of this year’s music in digital form. We’ll also review the schedule, discuss logistics, choose section leaders, and answer any questions you may have. If you are unable to attend the zoom meeting, we’ll have a recording available for you to view via Youtube.
BIWEEKLY REHEARSALS
Rehearsals will span alternating Saturdays from April 5 to June 7. As usual, we’ll have our super rehearsal (5 hours) immediately preceding the concert.

April 19: Chris Amberger Trio – The trio touches on a wide pallet of jazz in the last 70 years and beyond with originals, classics, standards, even pop songs with a bass featured in melody, rhythms and harmony.
