Education

Since 1999, Healdsburg Jazz has provided music education programming to our local public schools. We work with thousands of students annually through our in-school jazz music and education program. We also offer community programming for students and families. All educational programming is free.

The In-School Jazz Programs include:

• Hispanic History Month Elementary School Assemblies
• Black History Month Elementary School Assemblies
• Harlem of the West Middle and High School Assemblies
• Healdsburg High School After School Jazz Program
• Beta in-school Healdsburg Elementary School Enrichment

• The Community Programs include:

• Free Family Matinees in partnership with the Schulz Museum
• Education talks throughout the year: Maya Angelou, and other celebrations
• Freedom Jazz Choir
• Juneteenth Educational Tent and Workshop
• Northstar Music & Performing Arts Camp for Teens
