Introducing the 2025 Healdsburg Jazz Collective (HJC)

Healdsburg Jazz is proud to announce the formation of the first Healdsburg Jazz Collective (HJC), which is a group of accomplished and celebrated musicians who live and primarily but not exclusively perform in Healdsburg and Sonoma County. The purpose of the HJC is to highlight and support the incredible talent of musicians, composers, and arrangers who make their home in Sonoma County. The HJC is a project-by-project ensemble that will rotate members for each project with an emphasis on musical scholarship, musical and cultural diversity, and inclusivity. Artistically, the HJC will focus on original compositions, original arrangements, and themes unique to life in Sonoma County. The first performance of the HJC will be on June 21, 2025, for the Healdsburg Jazz 2025 Summer Festival.

Members of the 2025 Healdsburg Jazz Collective: Rob Sudduth (tenor sax/music director), Randy Vincent (guitar), Neil Fontano (piano), Jan Martinelli (bass), Kendrick Freeman (drums)
